The Ventura Film Festival creator and executive director was selected to take part, alongside numerous Hollywood elite, in the golden anniversary celebration of West Side Story and Hollywood's famous footprint/handprint ceremony recognizing Academy Award winners Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, together with Golden Globe champion Russ Tamblyn at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood. This celebration also functioned as the official BluRay release by Fox and MGM of the iconic West Side Story, which is generally recognized by here critics and fans as the best musical of all time.
